Shadysand Triangle Hammock Setup

  • Unpack and spread the hammock between 3 strong anchors (trees)
  • Check the alignment of the hammock: each end of the hammock must point towards an anchor (tree).
  • Tie the straps around your 3 anchors (trees)
  • Attach the ratchet tighteners to the rings at the ends of the hammock by making a loop
  • One by one, pass the straps of the anchors inside the ratchet tighteners and pull to start stretching the hammock.
  • Operate the handles of the ratchet tighteners to stretch the straps until you obtain a strong resistance.
  • Check the alignment again and adjust the straps with the tighteners if necessary.
  • Enjoy your hammock.

2 versions of the Shadysand triangle hammock exist: 4M (4 meters wide, 300Kg max) and 3M (3 meters wide, 250kg max)

  • The 4M Giant Hammock can comfortably accommodate 4 people (3 people for the 3M hammock). The recommended maximum weight being 300Kg / 660lb (250kg / 550lb) for the 3M hammock), it can easily accommodate 2 adults and 3 children, or even 6 children.
  • The Shadysand Giant Hammock has a unique strap system to create 3 separate sleeping areas. The differences in weight are thus compensated for, which prevents the lighter person from rolling towards the middle of the hammock.
  • The installation of the hammock is simple and can be done by one person.
  • The giant hanging Shadysand hammock includes 3 storage pockets under the hammock allowing you to store your bags, camping accessories, hiking accessories…
  • In order to get on the hammock more easily, a central hatch has been integrated. It opens and closes with a double zipper.

  • Do not attempt to use this product for any purpose other than that for which it was designed, and always observe the size and weight limits.
  • DO NOT use walls, fences, street furniture, roof racks, movable platforms, poles or trees less than 25cm in diameter as anchor points as they may not be strong enough.
  • DO NOT use tighteners other than those supplied with this product.
  • DO NOT place the hammock higher than 1.2 meters (4ft) from the ground or above hard, sharp or pointed objects.
  • Tactile and visual checks should be performed on ALL hammock components and ALL anchor points before each use.
  • Replace damaged elements if necessary.
  • Keep away from fire and sharp objects.
  • DO NOT use after consuming mind-altering substances.
  • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • DO NOT attach to trees or branches showing signs of structural weakness.
  • DO NOT adjust/open the ratchets when the hammock is occupied.
  • DO NOT use during a thunderstorm or high winds.
  • DO NOT use in areas where the ground is unstable.
